Es gibt einige politisch motivierte Ausstellungen, die sich mit einzelnen Themen künstlerisch auseinandersetzen; mal edukativ, mal appellativ oder dokumentarisch motiviert. Es stellt sich mir die Frage, ob es im Moment möglich ist, unpolitische und/oder unfeministische Kunst zu machen. Oder ist es gerade jetzt aus Antagonismus angebracht unpolitisch zu werden? Es ist nicht möglich sich der Flut von Dingen, die schief gehen erfolgreich zu entziehen. Es ist auch nicht möglich sich zu allem zu positionieren. Das Gesamtbild ist ein düsteres.
Eine Folge der oben beschriebenen Situation, ist die permanente unterschwellige Wut die ich empfinde, die mit einer Erschöpfung einhergeht, die ich hier „rage´n´boredom“ nenne.
Für diese Ausstellung habe ich Kolleg*innen eingeladen, aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven die sozio-psychologische Lage von Kunstschaffenden zu zeigen

There are some politically motivated exhibitions that deal with individual topics artistically; sometimes educational, sometimes appealing or documentary motivated. The question for me is whether it is possible to make non-political and/or non-feminist art right now. Or is it appropriate right now to become apolitical out of antagonism? It is not possible to successfully escape the tide of things going wrong. Nor is it possible to take a position on everything. The overall picture is a bleak one.
One consequence of the situation described above is the permanent underlying rage I feel, which goes hand in hand with an exhaustion that I call „rage’n’boredom“ here.
For this exhibition I invited colleagues to show the socio-psychological situation of artists from different perspectives.
